Opening books are datasets that contain a selection of opening moves from various chess games.

Each opening book can be different depending on the person or organization that produces them.

Features

GM Cheems supports the use of opening books and integrates them into the analysis: matching book moves show in the Book tab and as board arrows.

While many opening books are paid, there are plenty that are free to use.
