Engine strength
The Engine row on the sidebar (chip icon) sets how strong the engine plays, as a single Elo slider. Lower Elo plays like a weaker club player and searches faster; higher Elo plays closer to full strength.
- The slider runs from 1320 to 3190 Elo.
- Search depth follows the Elo automatically — there's no separate depth setting.
- The Lines tab still shows the true evaluation of the position at every Elo. Only the suggested move and its line are played at the level you set.
On the free plan the Engine row shows an upgrade button instead of the slider.
